Position: Building Maintenance Engineer

About the Role:
As a Building Maintenance Engineer, you will ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of building systems at a specified location. This includes handling HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, process controls, property equipment, and more. Your expertise will be crucial in keeping our facilities running efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine operational maintenance on equipment, including start-up and shutdown procedures.
• Evaluate and resolve any arising problems, with assistance and/or supervision as needed.
• Conduct lighting inspections, manage inventory of bulbs, change bulbs, and request assistance for ballast replacements.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and miscellaneous issues.
• Respond to maintenance duties/work orders as they occur on the premises.
• Perform preventative maintenance work on equipment as assigned.
• Demonstrate on-call responsibilities on a rotating basis and assist in storm preparation.

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED.
• One to three years of experience in a related field.
• Clean driver's license.
• Ability to respond to emergency alarms for fire and security during both regular business hours and after hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Third grade engineer license.
• Systems Maintenance Technician (SMT) designation or equivalent.
• Systems Maintenance Administrator (SMA) designation or equivalent.
