Business Analyst, AI Search & Digital Experience

Location: Austin, Texas OR Chandler, Arizona

Role Overview

We are seeking a Business Analyst to spearhead the implementation of a next-generation external search engine. This role is crucial in transforming the customer search experience by leveraging advanced, AI-powered technologies to improve product discoverability. The position involves driving a key digital transformation project from end-to-end in a fast-paced, Agile environment, focusing on continued innovation and development across the company website.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive enterprise search transformation, aligning technical efforts with business needs and ensuring execution within an Agile/SAFe environment.
• Serve as the core Business Analyst, gathering requirements, performing detailed analysis, and collaborating with business partners, development teams, and the product owner.
• Facilitate scrum ceremonies, manage stakeholder communication, and provide project leadership to drive the initiative forward.
• Develop project plans, create business workflows, and analyze solutions with a focus on automation, AI/ML, and overall value.
• Support the QA team by ensuring test plans are in place and acting as the main coordinator for testing.
• Drive implementation with onshore and offshore software development teams.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies for optimizing content for improved search results and user engagement.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to search effectiveness and user satisfaction.
• May be responsible for sourcing, negotiations, and managing outside vendors.

Required Qualifications

Education: A BS or MS degree in Project Management, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline is required.

Experience: This role requires 5-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with hands-on expertise leading implementations of enterprise search technologies. Previous job titles may include Enterprise Search BA, Search Product Owner, or Project Manager - Search.

Technical Skills: Candidates must have a strong understanding of search technologies, including a preference for Elastic. Familiarity with semantic search concepts, AI/ML, GenAI, and LLMs is necessary. Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or ServiceNow is also required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning concepts applied to search optimization.
• Knowledge of semiconductor industry terminology, products, and customer needs.
• Understanding of accessibility standards and their application to search interfaces.
• Familiarity with user experience (UX) design principles, particularly in sales and marketing applications.
