We're looking for a Business Partner, Programme Management Office to join our team in London. This role offers a salary of £48,000 - £54,000.
Job Purpose
The postholder will contribute to the work of the Programme Management Office by supporting the delivery, coordination, governance and assurance of projects, programmes and other change activity across ICAEW.
Working as part of a small PMO team you will be expected to contribute in a collaborative way to the running of the PMO and embedding the ICAEW change framework.
What you will be doing;
- Act as a business partner across the organisation to help shape, guide and deliver initiatives across the change spectrum.
- Support the ongoing development of the ICAEW change framework, including the refinement of processes, methods and tools.
- Maintain key artefacts, documentation and templates relating to specific initiatives and the change framework in general.
- Support the PMO Director in collating KPIs, highlight reports, portfolio reporting documentation, risk management artefacts and documentation as part of portfolio governance.
- Support regular reviews into the effectiveness of programme and project documentation.
- Specific duties will vary from time to time in line with the business needs.
What you will need;
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, able to act as a trusted business partner providing constructive challenge, practical guidance and proportionate support, and confident influencing and guiding others without direct line management responsibility.
- Comfortable working in a changing environment, managing ambiguity and helping others bring structure to complex or evolving work, with the ability to simplify complex situations and identify trends and themes.
- Analytical thinker with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to understand technical issues, with experience gathering, interpreting and synthesising information from multiple sources to produce clear, balanced and objective reporting for senior stakeholders.
- Ability to identify risks, dependencies, themes and common issues across projects, programmes and change activity, with a solid understanding of project and change management methodologies and sound judgement in applying governance, controls and assurance in a pragmatic and proportionate way.
- Confident user of Microsoft Office tools and Power BI to improve productivity and insight.
- A project or change management certification is desirable, as is an understanding of the accountancy profession.
