Data Engineer (Banking / Java / Oracle)

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join an enterprise AI & Data team delivering data solutions for a top banking client. In this role, you will develop scalable data architectures, create robust ETL data pipelines, and maintain critical data infrastructure.

responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines to drive efficient data generation, collection, and processing.
• Implement robust ETL processes to migrate and deploy data across backend database systems.
• Develop backend services and database components using Java, Spring Boot, and Oracle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new data sources and solve complex data challenges.

qualifications:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.

5+ years of software/data engineering and application development experience.

5+ years of strong hands-on experience with Java and Oracle databases.

Deep expert-level knowledge of Spring Boot framework.

Prior experience working within the banking or financial services industry.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Background in digital banking products and applications.

Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder management.

Familiarity with modern AI developer tools (e.g., Anthropic Claude Code).
