Senior Java / Oracle Data Engineer

Join an enterprise Financial Services technology team focused on building next-generation digital banking and settlement platforms. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will drive the development, optimization, and scale of critical data pipelines and back-end integration solutions.

responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain high-volume data solutions and ETL processes across relational databases and microservices.
• Collaborate across engineering teams to integrate complex banking data sources and optimize core architecture.
• Drive operational excellence, data quality, and high availability across mission-critical systems.
• Provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, and problem resolution across delivery pods.

qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.

5+ years of software and data engineering experience using Java and Oracle.

Demonstrated experience working within the Banking or Financial Services sector.

Deep experience in relational database design, query performance tuning, and scalable application development.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Hands-on experience with Spring Boot for backend microservices.

Direct exposure to digital banking applications or financial settlement processing.

Excellent technical communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
