MDM Analyst

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently across NetSuite, SAP, Business Central, our enterprise data warehouse, and other source systems; profiling data, gathering requirements, and pushing data quality and standardization work forward with minimal oversight.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead hands-on data profiling and discovery across NetSuite, SAP, Business Central, the data warehouse, and other source systems to establish current-state baselines for Customer and Item data domains
• Gather and document business requirements, data definitions, and data standards in partnership with stakeholders across Finance, Product Management, and Operations
• Design and support test cases, validation rules, and match/merge logic for the MDM platform and related tools
• Coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across multiple source systems and business units
• Monitor data quality KPIs and dashboards; identify, triage, and drive remediation of data quality issues
• Partner closely with the MDM / Data Governance Program Manager and Data Domain Owners to translate governance policy into day-to-day operational practice
• Support data cleansing and integration efforts tied to ongoing M&A activity and system harmonization
• Document current-state / gap-analysis findings, data dictionaries, and process workflows
• Move quickly and independently against an aggressive project timeline, proactively escalating blockers
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, data quality, or master data management roles
• Hands-on experience with at least two of the following: NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, or similar ERP/CRM systems
• Strong SQL skills and experience querying and analyzing data across multiple source systems
• Experience with data profiling, data quality assessment, and data cleansing techniques
• Demonstrated ability to gather requirements and translate them into documented data standards and business rules
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable working cross-functionally with both technical and business stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and drive projects forward with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with formal Master Data Management platforms or tools
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks, RACI models, or data stewardship practices
• Experience in a private equity–backed, high-growth, or multi-entity consolidation environment
• Prior experience supporting merger & acquisition data integration
