Role: Supply Chain Analytics Lead

Location: Boston, MA – Hybrid, 3 Days/Week Onsite
Work Arrangement: Local Candidates Only – No Relocation
Employment Type: W2 Contract

Position Overview

We are seeking a Supply Chain Analytics Lead to support supply chain analytics, operational performance reporting, and cost optimization initiatives within a cGMP manufacturing environment.

This role will work closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, Site Planning, Materials Operations, and Third-Party Logistics (3PL) teams to improve operational visibility, inventory performance, service levels, and overall efficiency.

The ideal candidate will be highly analytical and capable of turning complex operational data into clear, actionable business insights and recommendations for leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage supply chain analytics, KPIs, dashboards, scorecards, and performance reports.
  • Analyze supply chain, logistics, inventory, materials, and operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Perform spend analysis, financial modeling, and cost optimization activities.
  • Support supply chain planning, materials management, logistics, and manufacturing operations.
  • Translate complex data into actionable business recommendations.
  • Develop executive-level reporting and provide insights to senior leadership.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to define performance metrics and improve operational processes.
  • Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Support data-driven decision-making across tactical operations and long-term supply chain strategy.
  • Work with ERP systems, reporting platforms, and business intelligence tools such as Power BI.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 4–6+ years of relevant experience in supply chain analytics, operations analytics, planning, logistics, finance, or business intelligence.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain operations, inventory management, logistics, and planning processes.
  • Hands-on experience developing KPIs, dashboards, scorecards, and performance reports.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence/reporting tools.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Experience with spend analysis, financial modeling, and cost optimization.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and operational data.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to present analytical findings and recommendations to leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working in a cGMP environment.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, supply chain, or logistics operations.
  • Experience developing executive-level reporting and performance management processes.

Experience working with 3PL operations is a plus
