Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Supply Chain Data & Analytics Consultant to provide advanced analytics, reporting, data modeling, and strategic decision support across Supply Chain, Procurement, Fleet, and related business functions.

This is a senior-level individual contributor role requiring the ability to work independently, solve complex data challenges, and serve as a subject matter expert for analytics and reporting initiatives. The successful candidate will combine strong business knowledge with advanced technical capabilities in SQL, Power BI, Python, data modeling, and data warehousing.

This individual will partner with cross-functional stakeholders and leadership to transform complex business questions into actionable insights, scalable data solutions, and executive-ready dashboards and presentations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, write, and optimize complex SQL queries across multiple data marts, tables, and source systems.
• Extract, join, validate, and reconcile large datasets from disparate sources to ensure accurate and reliable reporting.
• Design and build data warehouse tables and data models that provide well-structured foundations for downstream reporting and analytics.
• Develop sophisticated Power BI dashboards and visualizations, integrating information from multiple data sources.
• Use Python for data transformation, process automation, analytical workflows, and other data-processing activities.
• Leverage artificial intelligence tools and techniques to improve the efficiency, quality, and depth of data analysis and reporting.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand complex questions and translate requirements into effective data models, reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions.
• Perform proactive analysis to identify trends, anomalies, performance gaps, and opportunities for operational or financial improvement.
• Provide consultation and guidance regarding performance measurement, financial reporting, benchmarking, and advanced report development.
• Develop and lead strategic, collaborative, cross-functional implementation plans from initial concept through full implementation.
• Serve as a senior subject matter expert and escalation resource for complex analytics, reporting, systems, and process-related challenges.
• Provide strategic recommendations regarding systems, processes, reporting capabilities, and business initiatives.
• Prepare and deliver executive-level reports, dashboards, presentations, and recommendations.
• Lead cross-functional work activities, identify key stakeholders, and build relationships across internal and external organizations.
• Mentor and provide guidance to other members of the work group, team, or department.

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

Candidates must meet one of the following combinations:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Accounting, Operations Management, Materials Management, Information Technology, or a related field AND at least 10 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Fleet, Operations Management, Materials Management, Information Technology, or a related area; OR
• Associate's degree in a related field AND at least 12 years of relevant experience; OR
• High School Diploma or equivalent AND at least 14 years of relevant experience.

Technical & Professional Qualifications

• Advanced experience developing complex SQL queries involving multiple tables, data marts, joins, and source systems.
• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and building reporting-ready datasets.
• Strong experience developing polished, executive-level Power BI dashboards.
• Experience using Python for data transformation, automation, or analytics.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled analytics and reporting tools and the ability to apply emerging technologies to improve analytical workflows.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate complex datasets and identify meaningful business insights.
• Strong understanding of Supply Chain, Procurement, Fleet, Operations, Materials Management, or related business processes.
• Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
• Excellent written, verbal, and executive presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage complex assignments, and drive initiatives through implementation.
• Ability to establish credibility as a subject matter expert in data analysis and business performance.
