Organic & AI Search Specialist

We partner with a diverse range of businesses to enhance their online presence, from search engine optimization and paid advertising to strategic social media management. We are seeking an Organic & AI Search Specialist with 1+ years of hands-on SEO experience who is eager to master the next era of search: Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and AI-driven visibility.

In this role, you will execute traditional search engine optimization, local search, brand entity building, and AI discovery across modern search platforms. This is a remote role with periodic travel required for client meetings located mostly within 100 miles of Reading, PA. You will start as an execution specialist with a structured 12-month career development plan.

Core Responsibilities

• Traditional & Technical SEO Execution: Conduct keyword research, on-page optimizations, technical website audits, internal linking adjustments, schema markup (JSON-LD), and indexability fixes.

• AI Search & GEO/AEO Optimization: Optimize content for AI search engines, AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity by establishing structured entity data, direct Q&A formats, and authoritative brand citations.

• Local SEO & Google Business Profiles: Manage local citations, Google Business Profile (GBP) optimization, review acceleration, and map-pack rankings for client portfolios.

• Tool Stack Management: Hands-on operation of Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Search Console (GSC), Google Business Profiles (GBP), Google Gemini Pro, and SE Ranking Growth with Local Marketing to drive client visibility and lead growth.

• Content Strategy & Optimization: Partner with AI tools to draft, structure, and refine content following Google’s E-E-A-T guidelines (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness).

• CRO & Conversion Alignment: Align organic search tactics with Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) so search visibility translates directly into qualified business inquiries and revenue for clients.

• Client Meeting & Value Delivery: Facilitate and co-lead client meetings, presenting strategic search insights, performance metrics, and recommendations that clearly translate technical search tactics into real-world business growth and client value. 

• Client Collaboration & Travel: Prepare client-ready performance updates and travel to client sites (within 100 miles of Reading, PA) when in-person strategy or quarterly review meetings are required.

 

• Experience: 1+ years of demonstrable hands-on experience in organic search / SEO (agency or in-house).

• Location & Travel: Fully remote work setup with reliable transportation and willingness to travel for client meetings across Greater Reading, Berks County, and surrounding Mid-Atlantic areas (within 100 miles).

• Tool Familiarity: Working experience with Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4), Google Business Profiles, and major SEO platforms (SE Ranking, Semrush, or Ahrefs).

• AI Curiosity: Active interest in generative AI tools (Google Gemini, ChatGPT) and how search platforms summarize and cite information.

• Business & Analytics Mindset: Ability to connect technical SEO metrics with real-world client business outcomes (leads, calls, sales).

• Client Communication & Presentation Skills: Proven ability to organize and confidently contribute on client calls, articulate SEO/AI search concepts to key stakeholders, and drive valuable strategic conversations that build trust and rapport.

Location: Remote (Must reside within a reasonable driving distance to attend client meetings as needed within a 100-mile radius of Reading, PA)
