Responsibilities:

The eATS Service Line Lead will be responsible for leading teams in designing, developing, scheduling, and maintaining automated test solutions. The primary focus for this role will involve leading the design and implementation of automation frameworks, developing automated test-scripts, and conducting automated tests across various environments and technologies. This role will also supervise the UAT test automation team as a technical lead, participating in the troubleshooting and debugging of test automation systems. The eATS Service Line Lead will help provide guidance to ensure the developed test automation aligns with the definition of done as per the Automated UAT Scripting Standards.

Additionally, the role will identify potential areas for applying automation technology in the future. The role also encompasses leading the maintenance and operations of test automation systems, implementing scalable and reusable test data solutions, and creating Deliverables to meet client contractual obligations. The eATS Service Line Lead will also deliver robust technical leadership for test activities, including planning, execution, and reporting. Further, the eATS Service Line Lead is responsible for overseeing and managing all knowledge management, training, performance improvement and Quality Assurance activities, primarily focused on identifying and implementing internal eATS improvements after client’s review, prioritization and decision.

Mandatory Qualifications

— 7+ years of professional work experience leading automation engineering initiatives;

— Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, version-control systems, and continuous integration and delivery of CI/CD pipelines;

— Experience in managing automation projects, including resource allocation, task prioritization, and project planning. This can include coordinating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation;

— Experience in Java (8 and above), Microservices, Rest/Soap API, Postman, JavaScript/HTML/CSS, JDBC, and Web Technologies;

— Experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) using Java and has extensively used classes, objects, inheritance, polymorphism, and exception handling;

— Proven ability to design and create automation using Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Maven;

— Ability to modify and maintain new automation using different development models such as BDD, TDD, Hybrid, and Data-Driven;

— Experience in UI automation concepts such as PageObject and PageFactory patterns; and

Strong knowledge of automation tools such as Lambdatest, SauceLabs, Jenkins, and Bamboo.
