Job Description
Description
We are looking for an experienced NetSuite Consultant to join a team in Morgantown, Pennsylvania on a Long-term Contract assignment. This position will add hands-on expertise across system configuration, data readiness, and testing activities while partnering closely with business stakeholders, the internal NetSuite lead, and the implementation partner. The ideal candidate brings a balanced background in NetSuite functionality, data migration support, and business analysis, with the ability to move between technical configuration work and process-focused collaboration.
Responsibilities
Configure and enhance NetSuite features to support business needs, including approval routing, custom forms, custom records, and workflow-based improvements. Collaborate with subject matter experts to organize, standardize, and prepare master and reference data such as customer, item, vendor, BOM, and pricing information for migration activities. Assist with migration execution by supporting data loads, confirming accuracy of results, identifying issues, and helping resolve discrepancies uncovered during validation.
Build, maintain, and run test scenarios that evaluate both migrated data quality and complete business process performance across the platform. Investigate defects and process gaps discovered during testing, document findings clearly, and work with stakeholders to drive timely resolution. Act as a liaison between business teams, internal NetSuite resources, and external implementation partners to translate operational needs into actionable system and data requirements.
Provide hands-on support for NetSuite configuration tasks that may include workflow logic, scripting-related updates, advanced forms, and demand planning setup. Contribute to project documentation related to migration preparation, load activities, testing outcomes, and configuration changes to support broader program execution. Requirements
Proven experience working as a NetSuite Consultant in a role that combines system configuration, business analysis, and data-focused project support.
Strong understanding of NetSuite configuration capabilities, including workflows, custom records, forms, and related system enhancements. Practical experience supporting data migration efforts, including data mapping, cleansing, template preparation, load validation, and issue resolution. Ability to create and execute structured test scripts for both data migration validation and end-to-end business processes. Familiarity with scripting concepts such as client-side scripting, workflows, or SuiteScript within a NetSuite environment.
Experience gathering and translating business requirements into clear functional documentation and actionable project deliverables. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with business SMEs, technical teams, and third-party partners in a collaborative environment.
