Job Description:

• At client, client has an incredibly talented team that is responsible for empowering developers to build advanced agentic AI capabilities into their applications.
• By leveraging the latest Generative AI models, tools, and knowledge, client enable the rapid creation of customized, stateful AI applications grounded in enterprise data, capable of handling a wide array of tasks.
• This role will be within Technology of the Chief Operating Office (TCOO) and will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing solutions safely utilizing large language models (LLMs).
• The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, proven leadership experience, and a focus on delivering safe, accurate, and user-centric solutions in an enterprise environment.

• Accelerate business use cases via Agentic AI with focus on using frameworks like Agent Development Kit (ADK) and Lang-Chain.
• Have strong background in MLOps and LLMOps.
• Ensure adherence to the Banking Platform Architecture and meeting nonfunctional requirements with each release.
• Engage with architects and experienced engineers to incorporate client Technology technical strategies, while understanding next generation domain architectures to enable application migration paths to target architecture. For example, Mainframe to Java migration; or .Net and Java version migration.
• Identify and recommend opportunities for driving resolution of technology roadblocks including code, build and deployment while also managing overall software development cycle and security standards.
• Conduct peer reviews to evaluate quality and solution alignment to technical direction.
• Interpret, develop, and ensure security, stability, and scalability within functions of technology with low to moderate complexity, as well as identify, manage and mitigate technology and enterprise risk.
• Influence technology requirements and priorities in the product roadmaps.

• 5 plus years of Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• 2 plus years of strong understanding of multi-cloud environments (Azure, Google Cloud Platform, OpenShift) and hands-on experience with cloud-native development and/or Cloud migration of applications
• 1 plus years knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and/or agentic workflows in generative AI applications.

• Proficiency in DevOps tools and practices, including infrastructure as code.
• Strong experience collaborating with product and business stakeholders to deliver valuable and user-centric solutions.
• Financial industry experience or familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to balance technical excellence with business priorities.
• Expertise in test-driven development methodologies.
• Cybersecurity and Risk Mindset: proactively identifies risks and integrates secure practices into development workflows.
• End-user experience focused: delivers intuitive, valuable solutions that align with employee needs.

• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and largescale planning for Software Engineering.
• Review and analyze complex multifaceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors.
• Contribute to the resolution of complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables.
• Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.

• Manager is able to present new ideas every week on how to transform the business with AI.
• Not for the faint of heart, need to present a demo and an accompanying video every week. A dozen members of the team.
• Some of the leading tech companies are calling this work forward deployment engineering, looking ahead and employing future technology ahead of time.
• Will likely be creating the prototype of an agent solving a business problem to use in the demo
• Have a backlog of demos they're building simultaneously, not building one each week.
• Python is the bedrock of this position.
• Familiarity with framework of building agents is bread and butter of this team.
• Working on different business problems using the similar tech stack.
• Need good software engineers who know the SDLC.
• Should be able to work with other developers, create their own branch on a project and merge it back to the main branch.

• 5 to 10 years of engineering experience (could be Java Engineers who transitioned to Python)
• 2 plus years of Python engineering
• AI concepts (know frameworks for building agents, tech agnostic)
• SDLC

• Finance experience
• Security practice experience, Cybersecurity is critical (Working with DII and other similar data)
• AI certifications from Amazon or Google help to demonstrate knowledge.
• Some members of the team have Masters in AI, but prefer experience over untested training

Pay Range: $65-$68/hr
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
