Build Your Career in HR

We are looking for a highly organised, personable and proactive HR Administrator to join our growing business.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone at the beginning of their HR career who wants to gain broad, hands-on experience across the employee lifecycle and develop their skills within a fast-paced and supportive environment.

About the Role

You will provide day-to-day HR support across the business, working closely with employees and managers and supporting a wide range of HR activities, including:

  • Maintaining accurate employee records and HR documentation
  • Supporting recruitment from vacancy through to appointment
  • Preparing and posting job advertisements and coordinating interviews
  • Managing new starter onboarding and leaver administration
  • Maintaining holiday, absence and probation records
  • Coordinating staff rotas across multiple sites
  • Supporting the monthly payroll process
  • Maintaining training records and coordinating internal and external training
  • Preparing HR letters, reports and documentation
  • Supporting HR policies, procedures and compliance activities
  • Acting as a first point of contact for general HR queries
  • Supporting managers with employee reviews, training and HR processes
  • Assisting with HR projects and continuous process improvements

What We're Looking For

You do not need extensive HR experience. We are looking for someone with the right attitude, strong organisational skills and a genuine interest in developing a career in HR.

Ideally, you will have:

  • Previous experience in administration, HR, recruitment or another people-focused role
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • The ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • A proactive approach and the ability to take ownership of tasks
  • A professional, approachable and reliable manner

A CIPD qualification, previous HR experience, payroll knowledge or recruitment experience would be advantageous, as would experience working within a professional or regulated environment.

Why Join Us?

This is more than an administration role. As you develop, there will be opportunities to take on increasing responsibility across employee relations, recruitment, performance management, training and HR projects.

For the right person, there is genuine potential to progress into an HR Advisor or HR Manager position as your experience and knowledge develop.

You will have the opportunity to make a real contribution to the development of people practices and HR processes within a growing organisation.

Equal Opportunities

We are committed to creating an inclusive workplace and welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds. All applicants will be considered based on their skills, experience, potential and suitability for the role.

If you are looking to start or develop your career in HR and want a role where you can learn, contribute and progress, we would love to hear from you.
