Systems Engineer

Aquent Talent is seeking a Systems Engineer to design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable systems supporting creative, marketing, and digital talent solutions. You'll architect cloud and on-prem infrastructure, automate deployments, monitor performance, and ensure high availability for client-facing platforms. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll troubleshoot complex issues, improve reliability, and champion best practices in security, documentation, and CI/CD. Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable, secure cloud and on-prem systems infrastructure.
• Implement and manage automation, configuration management, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure high availability.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and security teams on platform reliability and improvements.
• Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
• Harden systems, apply patches, and align with security and compliance best practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for systems, processes, and architectures.
• Continuously evaluate and introduce tools to improve reliability, observability, and deployment.
