Job Description

We are seeking an Associate Data Scientist Analyst to join our team. The candidate will utilize data analysis, data mining, pattern analysis, data visualization, reporting, and data management to support projects under the guidance of senior analysts and data scientists. The role requires experience with descriptive analytics, data querying, and foundational machine learning approaches to deliver insights and support decision making.

Responsibilities:

• Perform descriptive analytics, data query scripting, data analysis, data engineering, visualizations, and forecasting.


• Provide data insights for business problems using analytics techniques on structured and unstructured data.


• Execute analytical procedures within defined project work requests and timelines.


• Modify scripts or software applications to support data management, extraction, and analysis.


• Collaborate with subject matter experts and present findings in clear terms for business or clinical stakeholders.


• Contribute to the interpretation of analyses and the drafting of reports and summaries.


• Assist customers in understanding datasets and provide training or recommendations to improve data requests.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Basic expertise in data science methods, data types, and analytical approaches.


• Hands-on use of problem-solving methodologies, planning techniques, continuous improvement, and analytical tools such as statistical packages, modeling, and machine learning.


• Ability to stay current on healthcare trends and enterprise changes.


• Effective interpersonal and time management skills.


• Strong analytical skills and a commitment to customer service.


• Bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, computer science, statistics, physics, data science, health science, or another analytical or quantitative field.

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to develop predictive models using advanced statistical modeling, machine learning, or data mining techniques.
