Job Description

Join SAP's senior product management network, collaborating globally and shaping practices that elevate product excellence worldwide.

What you'll build

In this role, you'll own one of LeanIX's most strategically important products: our MCP (Model Context Protocol) server — the foundation that connects LeanIX to the growing ecosystem of AI agents and platforms, internally and customer-facing.

As the Product Manager, you'll define and drive the roadmap for the MCP server: expanding the tool library, planning for enhancements (e.g., MCP apps), designing access models that let enterprise customers control exactly who can use which capabilities, and ensuring our internal and external integrations hold up as the agentic AI space moves fast.

Your work will directly shape how hundreds of customers integrate LeanIX into their AI workflows. You'll collaborate closely with engineers, align with fellow PMs across the LeanIX organization, and turn complex technical constraints into clear, well-reasoned product decisions.

What you bring

  • 3-5 years of Product Management experience, ideally with developer-facing, API, or platform products
  • Solid understanding of SaaS development and operations — you know how software gets built, shipped, and evolved
  • Familiarity with API management concepts and modern integration patterns
  • Curiosity about the MCP standard and agentic AI platforms; experience with tools like Mastra or similar is a plus
  • Sound judgment when evolving products under real-world constraints — you think carefully before changing something hundreds of customers already rely on
  • Clear communicator who can turn complex technical tradeoffs into crisp, well-argued product decisions
  • Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is a nice to have

Where you belong

You'll be based in Berlin, joining a small, high-impact team at the intersection of AI and enterprise software. We move fast, think in systems, and care about doing the right thing — for our customers, our colleagues, and the broader AI ecosystem.

Skills used in this role include: competitive analysis, market research, product lifecycle management, product roadmap development, software development life cycle, data-driven decision making, storytelling, customer engagement, AI-assisted development, AI-Assisted High-Fidelity Prototyping, context engineering, AI output quality assurance, agentic AI day-to-day practice, AI-Assisted Automation and Prototyping, AI adoption capability.
