Senior Salesforce Developer – Agentforce / Agentic AI

Halvik is seeking a hands-on Senior Salesforce Developer to design, develop, integrate, and deploy Agentic AI solutions supporting the Department of Transportation (DOT) ACERS Salesforce modernization program.

The ideal candidate will have strong Salesforce development experience combined with hands-on expertise in Salesforce Agentforce, Prompt Builder, Data Cloud/Data 360, generative AI, RAG, MCP integrations, and Salesforce APIs. This role requires someone who can take AI solutions from design and development through production deployment and stabilization in a secure federal environment.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of software development experience.
5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
Hands-on experience with:
Salesforce Agentforce
Prompt Builder
Salesforce Data Cloud / Data 360
Apex
Lightning Web Components (LWC)
Salesforce Flow
REST APIs
Understanding of:
Generative AI
Prompt engineering
RAG
Tool calling
AI agent evaluation
Strong Salesforce development experience with:
Apex Classes/Triggers
LWC
Visualforce
SOQL/SOSL
Service Cloud
Platform Events
JavaScript/HTML/CSS
Experience with Git, CI/CD, deployment and release management.
Experience with VS Code and Salesforce CLI.
Experience troubleshooting production Salesforce applications and integrations.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Federal contracting experience, especially DOT or civilian federal agencies.
Experience with federal modernization or Software Factory programs.
Experience with AWS GovCloud/FedRAMP environments.
Experience taking enterprise AI solutions from prototype to production.
Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect certification.
