Job Description

Organizational Change Management and Training Lead

Bilingual EN/JP required

TOP SKILLS FOR THIS ROLE
1    Shop-floor change management for a paperless transformation — moving operators, inspectors, planners and technicians off paper/Excel/legacy tools onto real-time SAP process.
2    Multi-language, multi-shift training delivery across four plants, in Japanese alongside other floor languages.
3    Key-person knowledge capture — documenting business logic held in individuals' spreadsheets and heads, a named program risk.
4    Adoption measurement — defining per-role adoption, measuring through hypercare, and acting on the data rather than declaring success at go-live.
Role Overview
This program moves a paper-, Excel- and point-tool-based manufacturing operation to real-time, paperless, standard SAP process across four plants and two divisions. The OCM and Training Lead owns the human side of delivery end to end: stakeholder engagement, communication, business readiness, role-based training, knowledge capture and adoption measurement, across a multi-shift operator population working in part in languages other than Japanese.
Key Responsibilities
•    Own the change management and training strategy across all four workstreams and all four plants, integrated into the master program plan.
•    Run change impact assessments by role, division and plant, and the stakeholder engagement/communication plan from executives to shift operators.
•    Design and deliver role-based training — curricula, work instructions, hands-on practice — for shop-floor dashboards, quality capture, hand-held terminals, planning and costing.
•    Own the language strategy for end-user content (Japanese plus other floor languages), including translation and terminology governance.
•    Lead structured knowledge capture from key individuals on lot-numbering, allocation, planning and inspection logic.
•    Build the super-user network and business readiness criteria feeding go/no-go decisions; define and act on adoption metrics through hypercare.

■ BATCH MANAGEMENT & TRACEABILITY — PREFERRED, NOT REQUIRED
Not a configuration role, but the program's largest behavioral changes sit in lot and batch handling — a lead who understands the paper-to-system shift in lot creation/splitting and quality-driven batch status will build materially better training.
Required Qualifications
•    8+ years OCM/end-user training on enterprise implementations, incl. 3+ full-lifecycle ERP programs, 1+ on SAP.
•    Proven change/training delivery to a manufacturing shop-floor population, across multiple shifts and sites.
•    Structured methodology (Prosci/ADKAR, Kotter) applied with judgment; effective work with a non-English-speaking workforce.
•    Business readiness/go-no-go experience; adoption metrics beyond completion counts; super-user network design.
Preferred Qualifications
•    Bilingual English/Japanese (business level) preferred, not required — substantial direct floor contact.
•    Prior change delivery in Japan/Japanese manufacturing; multi-language training content and translation QC.
•    Experience retiring legacy tools; familiarity with SAP Digital Manufacturing, Fiori, hand-held interfaces; Prosci certification a plus.
Language & Engagement
Fluent English required; business-level Japanese a strong advantage, not a condition of appointment — interpretation support and bilingual pairing provided. Full-time, Explore through Deploy and hypercare, with substantial on-site presence across shifts during training, cutover and hypercare. Reports to the Program Manager.
