Site Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a hands-on Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to support the reliability, observability, automation, and operational health of a large-scale production platform. The role will focus on improving system reliability, modernizing infrastructure, strengthening monitoring, and driving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and improve reliability and performance of production platforms.
• Develop automation and internal tools to improve operational efficiency.
• Support incident response, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
• Drive platform modernization and cloud migration initiatives.
• Improve application and infrastructure observability.
• Automate infrastructure and deployment processes.
• Partner with engineering teams to improve production stability and reduce operational risk.

Required Skills:

• Strong Python development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Django and REST APIs.
• Strong MySQL/database knowledge.
• Deep Linux administration and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with infrastructure engineering and automation.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools; Dynatrace preferred.
• Experience supporting large-scale production environments.
• Experience with Azure and/or AWS.
• Strong understanding of SRE, DevOps, and Reliability Engineering practices.
• Knowledge of OpenTelemetry, Infrastructure-as-Code, and automation frameworks.
• Financial services or trading platform experience is preferred.

Location: Pennington, NJ – Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

Contract: 18 months
