Overview

Client is hiring three Senior Enterprise Network Engineers to support a large-scale enterprise infrastructure modernization initiative tied to OneEpic, mergers & acquisitions, infrastructure consolidation, and network transformation efforts. These are project-focused engineering roles, not traditional network administration positions.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-scale network environments across multiple locations while collaborating with infrastructure, security, architecture, and application teams.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure.
• Lead network integration efforts supporting OneEpic, mergers & acquisitions, and infrastructure consolidation.
• Design and support enterprise routing, switching, wireless, SD-WAN, security, DNS/DHCP, and cloud networking solutions.
• Participate in network segmentation, standardization, and Re-IP initiatives.
• Lead complex troubleshooting and incident response for enterprise network issues.
• Develop technical documentation, migration plans, and operational standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, security, and infrastructure teams on strategic initiatives.
• Support enterprise technology roadmaps while maintaining network reliability across a large healthcare environment.

Required Technical Experience

Recruiters should prioritize candidates with experience in:

• Enterprise Routing & Switching
• Cisco Technologies (Catalyst, Nexus, IOS-XE)
• BGP, OSPF, EIGRP
• Enterprise Wireless (Cisco, Aruba, Meraki)
• SD-WAN
• Network Security (ACLs, VPNs, Firewalls, Cisco ISE, 802.1X)
• DNS/DHCP
• Cloud Networking (Azure and/or AWS)
• Network Segmentation
• Re-IP Projects
• Infrastructure Migrations
• Multi-site Enterprise Networks

Preferred Backgrounds

Strong candidates will come from environments such as:

• Large Healthcare Systems
• Academic Medical Centers
• Fortune 500 Enterprise IT Organizations
• Financial Services
• Manufacturing Enterprises
• Large Consulting Firms specializing in enterprise infrastructure

Healthcare or Epic infrastructure experience is a plus but should not prevent submission of highly qualified enterprise networking candidates.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 8+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise network solutions rather than primarily supporting day-to-day operations.
• Comfortable leading technical initiatives and cross-functional infrastructure projects.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience working within highly available, mission-critical enterprise environments.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
