Project Manager

Job description:          

• A Technical Project Manager is an essential role within software development and is someone responsible for overseeing and managing software development projects from start to finish.
• They have a deep understanding of software development methodologies, technologies, and best practices.
• Their role involves planning, executing, and delivering high-quality software solutions while ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
• They collaborate closely with the development team, stakeholders, allocate resources, and manage project risks.
• This role will be somewhat similar to a Scrum Master role in Agile. They are responsible for reporting various types of project metrics, including RAG statuses, Project Status updates, and track progress of each project.

Position Requirements:

• 4-year degree from an accredited university or applicable work experience
• 5+ years of experience working with business and technology teams for a software development company
• Project Management Experience
• Proficiency in reporting progress, status, and alignment to a project plan
• Technical expertise and strong leadership abilities

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:

• Demonstrated experience in managing technical software development projects is required. This includes overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects, managing project budgets, resources, and timelines, and ensuring high-quality software deliverables.
• Foundation in software development principles, programming languages, and technical architectures is required
• A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field is ideal
• Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to guide and motivate cross-functional teams, resolve conflicts, and foster collaboration
