Job Description

A well-established client in the construction industry is looking for an experienced Project Administrator to join their growing team in a permanent, site-based position.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced construction environment and wants to be part of a supportive team delivering major projects across Sydney.

The Role

Working closely with Project Managers and the wider site team, you'll play a key role in keeping projects organised, compliant and running efficiently from commencement through to completion.

  • Providing administrative support to Project Managers and site teams
  • Managing project documentation and maintaining accurate records
  • Coordinating timesheets, leave requests and employee onboarding
  • Assisting with document control, compliance and project handover documentation
  • Raising purchase orders and coordinating materials and site supplies
  • Processing invoices, delivery dockets and supporting project cost tracking
  • Assisting with project reporting, forecasting and monthly reconciliations
  • Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders
  • Supporting WHS administration and ensuring site documentation remains compliant
  • General project administration to support the successful delivery of multiple projects
About You

We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and enjoys being the person who keeps everything running behind the scenes.

You'll ideally bring:

  • Previous experience in a Project Administrator, Site Administrator or Construction Administrator role
  • Experience working within the construction, infrastructure or engineering industry
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Experience with project management or ERP systems (highly regarded)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across all levels of the business
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team
  • A current White Card and driver's licence
