Job Description

 

Title : Sr. AWS Migration Engineer

Location : Minneapolis, MN (Remote also fine)

 

Sr. AWS Migration Engineer

  • 12 Plus  years of infrastructure experience with 2–3+ years of hands-on AWS migration delivery, including large-scale data center migrations (100+ servers).
  • Strong expertise in AWS MGN, DMS/SCT, Migration Hub, VMware-to-AWS, Terraform, VPC, networking, and hybrid connectivity.
  • Experience migrating Windows Server, .NET applications, and SQL Server workloads to AWS, including EC2/RDS and application modernization.
  • Strong knowledge of migration wave planning, dependency mapping, cutover/rollback planning, data validation, and stakeholder/RACI management.
  • AWS Solutions Architect certification preferred; knowledge of AWS MAP, Well-Architected Framework, CI/CD, containers, security, and cost optimization is a plus.

 

Certifications (Recommended)

•               AWS Solutions Architect – Associate (minimum) or Professional

•               AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate

•               AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional (preferred for refactoring work)

•               Additional: Microsoft certifications for .NET/SQL Server are a plus
