IT Director, Master Data Platforms (MDM, PIM & DAM)

Our client is hiring a technical leader to own the architecture and roadmap for an established master data platform as it expands beyond product data into customer and vendor master data. This is a new, dedicated director seat. You'll set solution design and direction, then lead a small internal team and vendor partners to deliver it. The platform has been stable in production for three years, so the focus is building out new domains and maturing what's in place.

• Job Type: Direct Hire
• Location: Lisle, IL - Hybrid (onsite 3 days per week)
• Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $180,000 to $200,000 base, plus eligibility for a director-level management bonus

What You'll Do:

• Drive solution design and architecture for new customer and vendor master data domains, using the existing product master build as the model
• Set strategy and roadmap for the EnterWorks platform across MDM, PIM, and DAM, and assess current maturity to decide what to tackle next
• Lead a team of internal employees and manage the vendor and consulting partners who handle day-to-day delivery
• Partner with business-side data owners on gaps, priorities, enhancements, and run-and-operate needs
• Work alongside the integrations team to connect master data with ERP, CRM, eCommerce, and analytics systems

What Gets You the Job:

• 10+ years in enterprise master data management, with a deep technical grasp of golden records, match and merge, survivorship, hierarchies, and data models
• Track record of driving solution design and architecture for new master data domains
• 5+ years leading technical teams and managing outside vendors or consulting partners
• Ability to work onsite in Lisle, IL 3 days per week
• Preferred: Hands-on EnterWorks experience across MDM, PIM, and DAM; customer or vendor master experience; ACES/PIES, Informatica IICS, Snowflake, or distribution, manufacturing, or B2B background a plus
