Job description

Candidates must already possess an active Secret clearance to be considered.

Summary: • Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based software capabilities, RESTful APIs, and microservices on Linux platforms. • Integrate advanced agentic AI workflows to facilitate multi-file feature delivery, codebase refactoring, and automated test generation. • Collaborate within an Agile software lifecycle to build and deploy high-performance enterprise applications.

Qualifications && Compensation: • Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • Years of experience: 9+ years • Total Compensation: $274k+ yearly Job Description: • Develop scalable enterprise microservices and RESTful web services utilizing modern Java frameworks such as Spring. • Incorporate AI agents into daily development routines for feature implementation, code modernization, and automated test coverage. • Guide AI agents across multi-repository architectures while critically auditing generated code for security, performance, and architectural standards. • Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles to design maintainable and extensible software components. • Build, test, and troubleshoot software solutions running in Linux environments. • Manage source code and build pipelines using tools such as Git, Maven, and Nexus. • Collaborate closely with cross-functional Agile teams utilizing standard tooling such as JIRA and Confluence.

Telework: This role supports a hybrid work arrangement requiring an average of 1-2 days per week on-site in Columbia, MD.
