Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing data warehouse solutions using Snowflake. The role requires hands-on experience with ETL/ELT development, SQL programming, cloud platforms, and data integration technologies to build scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data warehouse solutions using Snowflake.
Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and loading.
Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation logic.
Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
Optimize Snowflake performance through query tuning, clustering, and warehouse optimization.
Integrate data from multiple sources into Snowflake using modern data integration tools.
Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance across enterprise data platforms.
Troubleshoot production issues and implement performance improvements.
Support data migration initiatives from legacy platforms to Snowflake.
Participate in Agile development processes, code reviews, and technical documentation.

Required Skills:

8+ years of experience in Data Warehousing and Data Engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake development and administration.
Expertise in SQL, Stored Procedures, Views, and Performance Tuning.
Experience designing and developing ETL/ELT pipelines.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, Matillion, dbt, or Azure Data Factory.
Strong understanding of data modeling, dimensional modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
Experience with data integration, data migration, and data validation.
Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Python or Shell scripting for automation.
Knowledge of orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for data engineering.
Snowflake SnowPro Certification is a plus.
Experience working in Banking, Financial Services, Healthcare, or other enterprise environments.
