SEN / SEND Tutor | Bourne End, Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom | Hybrid

We are seeking passionate SEND Tutors and Teachers to join an impact-driven community dedicated to transforming the lives of young people with SEND and SEMH needs. This is an opportunity to take control of your teaching journey, working flexibly and creatively to make a significant difference in your community.

The Role

  • Provide in-person, remote, or hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
  • Support pupils from KS1 to KS5 through flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
  • Plan and report for lessons, providing regular feedback on student progress.
  • Work with local authorities and schools to raise the standard of education for vulnerable learners.
  • Deliver tailored support for diverse needs including MLD, SLD, and PMLD.

What You'll Need

  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, with a focus on SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
  • QTS or QTLS qualification.
  • Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science at a relevant level.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding practices and creating a safe learning environment.
  • Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed) and professional references.
  • Based in the UK with the right to work.
