Job Title: Cloud Test Automation Engineer (Software Test Engineer)

Job Description:

We are looking for a Cloud Test Automation Engineer with experience in AWS cloud automation, AWS CDK, TypeScript, Python, and software test automation.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain automated unit, integration, end-to-end, and regression tests.
• Build AWS infrastructure using AWS CDK with TypeScript.
• Integrate automated testing and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines.
• Support validation of AWS IoT and AWS IoT Greengrass deployments.
• Improve test reliability, diagnostics, logging, and observability.
• Troubleshoot test failures and perform root-cause analysis.
• Support release readiness, test reporting, and operational activities.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve system testability.

Required Skills:
• 2+ years of hands-on AWS experience in automation, deployment, or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong experience with AWS CDK and TypeScript.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and Python.
• Experience with automated software testing and CI/CD integration.
• Experience with Git, SDLC, code reviews, and secure coding practices.
• Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience with cloud-based software testing and AWS services.

• AWS IoT / AWS IoT Greengrass v2
• AWS Lambda and Step Functions
• Amazon CloudWatch logs, metrics, and alerting
• Hydra or similar cloud test automation frameworks
• CI/CD tools and deployment automation
• Experience working with physical devices for deployment validation

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field preferred.
