SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) Consultant to support ongoing projects and day-to-day SAP PM operations for a leading client in the Oil & Gas industry. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on SAP PM experience, including configuration, functional specification development for RICEFW objects, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional expertise in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) for ongoing projects and daily business operations.

• Develop detailed functional specifications for RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows).

• Configure and maintain SAP PM functionalities based on business requirements.

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional solutions.

• Work closely with technical teams to support the development, testing, and implementation of RICEFW objects.

• Handle and resolve SAP PM support tickets, incidents, and service requests within agreed timelines.

• Troubleshoot functional issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement appropriate resolutions.

• Support functional testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment activities.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional SAP teams to ensure smooth system operations.

• Prepare and maintain functional documentation, configuration documents, and support-related records.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP PM).

• Strong experience developing functional specifications for SAP PM-related RICEFW objects.

• Hands-on SAP PM configuration experience.

• Experience providing production support, managing tickets, and resolving functional issues.

• Strong understanding of SAP PM business processes and maintenance operations.

• Experience working with ABAP developers and technical teams on RICEFW development.

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

• Ability to manage project deliverables alongside daily support responsibilities.

• Willingness to work onsite five days per week in Houston, TX.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in the Oil & Gas industry.

• Familiarity with maintenance planning, work orders, notifications, equipment, and functional locations.

• Experience with SAP integration points involving Plant Maintenance and other SAP modules.

• Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA Plant Maintenance.

Work Arrangement

• Work Location: Houston, Texas

• Work Mode: 100% Onsite, Monday through Friday

• Contract Duration: 12 Months

A senior SAP PM Consultant with 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP PM configuration, RICEFW functional specification development, and production support, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry, who can contribute to projects while independently managing day-to-day support tickets.
