Shift Maintenance Engineer

Multi Skilled Engineer Location: St Asaph Job Type: Full-time, Permanent<br />Working Hours: 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off - (06:00-18:00 / 18:00-06:00)<br />Salary: £57,000 per annum An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Shift Engineer with a strong Electrical bias to join a well established manufacturing business. This role would suit an experienced engineer who enjoys hands on fault finding, preventative maintenance and continuous improvement within a busy manufacturing environment

The Role:

Working as part of the Engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining production equipment, responding to breakdowns and supporting the ongoing improvement of site reliability. Key responsibilities will include: Carrying out planned preventative and predictive maintenance<br />Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults to minimise downtime<br />Supporting mechanical fault finding and repairs<br />Completing breakdown repairs and root cause analysis<br />Supporting the installation, commissioning and modification of equipment<br />Maintaining critical spares and engineering records<br />Supporting continuous improvement and energy reduction initiatives<br />Ensuring all maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with site procedures

The candidate:

We're looking for a qualified or time served Engineer with strong fault-finding experience within a manufacturing environment. You should have: Strong electrical fault-finding and maintenance experience<br />Electrical Engineering qualification or time-served experience<br />Mechanical or multi-skilled engineering experience would be advantageous<br />Experience using CMMS systems<br />Good knowledge of Microsoft Office<br />Experience within FMCG or high-volume manufacturing would be desirable<br />A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement<br />Excellent communication and organisational skills<br />A strong commitment to health and safetyFor further information, please contact Sophie on (phone number removed) or email
