IT Quality Analyst

Pay Range: $60 - $62/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:

• Execute end-to-end testing across the policy lifecycle, including quote, bind, issue, endorsement, renewal, cancellation, reinstatement, rewrite, and policy servicing transactions.
• Validate underwriting rules, business decision logic, eligibility requirements, and rating calculations against business requirements and state-specific regulations.
• Perform database and data validation testing using SQL queries to verify application processing, data integrity, and integration results.
• Identify, document, triage, retest, and verify defects using Azure DevOps, collaborating with developers and business stakeholders through resolution.
• Conduct regression testing to assess feature impacts and ensure stability of existing business functionality.
• Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, story review, and feature discussions to identify test scenarios, risks, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.
• Support production releases through implementation validation, post-deployment testing, and issue investigation.
• Perform accessibility testing using approved tools and standards to ensure compliance and usability requirements are met.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• 7+ years of related work experience analyzing, testing, and implementing business system changes or user acceptance testing.
• Experience designing and executing functional, integration, and regression testing for complex business applications, including test scenario and test case development.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze requirements, user stories, and business processes to identify test coverage, risks, dependencies, and quality concerns.
• Experience validating application behavior across multiple layers, including user interfaces, APIs, databases, and system integrations.
• Experience investigating, documenting, and validating defects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and drive resolution.
• Experience working within Agile delivery teams, including participation in backlog refinement, sprint planning, story reviews, and release activities.
• Experience creating and maintaining detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test evidence in Azure DevOps.
• Property & Casualty insurance experience, preferably Commercial Lines or Business Owner Policy (BOP) systems, or prior experience with testing for Policy Lifecycle (i.e., Quoting/Servicing a policy), Billing, and/or Payments.
• Experience with Postman, Microsoft Azure Dev Ops, Cloud technologies, APIs, Enterprise Security standards, Client/App Dynamics, relational databases/MS SQL Server Management Studio, and Accessibility Tools.
