Senior QA Engineer – Java Automation

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer with strong expertise in Java-based test automation, API testing, and automation framework development.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using Java.
Perform API, frontend, integration, regression, end-to-end, and performance testing.
Develop and execute test scenarios and test cases based on business and technical requirements.
Test RESTful APIs using REST Assured or similar tools, working with JSON and XML.
Review automated test scripts to ensure coding standards, maintainability, and best practices.
Prepare test strategies, release plans, and testing documentation.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Track defects, manage test cases, and report issues using JIRA or similar tools.
Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to development tasks when required.

Required Qualifications

8+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on Java-based automation.
Hands-on experience developing and maintaining test automation frameworks.
Strong knowledge of API testing, REST Assured, RESTful services, JSON, and XML.
Understanding of BDD testing concepts and software testing methodologies.
Experience with JIRA, version control systems, and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
