Position: Oracle HCM Payroll Cloud Consultant

Location: Remote, but 50% travel Phoenix AZ – expenses paid

Type:       Contract (W2 Only)

Payroll Functional Lead

Required skills:

• Own the full project lifecycle from discovery, fit-gap analysis, and solution design to testing, data migration, cutover, and hypercare support.
• Configure payroll elements, balances, Fast Formulas, costing, and payment methods while ensuring regional legislative compliance.
• Align payroll workflows with upstream and downstream touchpoints including Global HR, Absence Management (ABS), Oracle Time and Labor (OTL), and Financials/General Ledger.
• Facilitate client workshops, translate complex technical issues into business terms, and collaborate with project managers on status and risk reporting.
• Lead the implementation of business processes within the Oracle HCM Payroll, Benefits & Compensation module.
• Understand business requirements, identify gaps, and recommend leading-practice solutions to improve process efficiency and reduce future maintenance efforts.
• Design, configure, and customize Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll solutions.
• Create functional designs and prototypes.
• Conduct application testing, including Payroll Parallel Testing.
• Educate clients on Oracle HCM best practices.
• Identify opportunities for additional services.
• Provide engagement managers with status reports on overall project progress.
• Participate in training and knowledge-sharing events with fellow practitioners.
• Apply strong consulting skills, business acumen, and packaged-solution expertise to achieve client business objectives and ensure successful implementation.
