Enterprise Architect || Charlotte, NC || FTE Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to define, govern, and drive enterprise-wide architecture standards and cloud transformation initiatives. The role will provide technical leadership across multiple applications and projects, establish architecture best practices, ensure solution quality, optimize cloud spending, and align technology solutions with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture Strategy & Governance
Define enterprise architecture standards, frameworks, and technical strategies.
Develop and maintain reference architectures, design patterns, and implementation guidelines.
Establish architecture governance processes and ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, security reviews, and compliance assessments.
Solution Design & Delivery
Design scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud-native solutions.
Create logical architecture diagrams, physical architecture diagrams, and data flow designs.
Guide development teams in implementing architectural best practices.
Ensure technical quality and consistency across applications and platforms.
Cloud & FinOps Leadership
Lead the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform environments.
Collaborate with FinOps teams to optimize cloud consumption and operational costs.
Apply cloud-native design principles to improve scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
Recommend technology improvements and modernization opportunities.
Stakeholder Management
Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into effective solutions.
Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Influence decision-making across projects and application teams.
Documentation & Knowledge Sharing
Create and maintain architecture documentation, standards, and technical artifacts.
Mentor and support junior architects, engineers, and development teams.
Drive adoption of enterprise architecture best practices across the organization.
Required Qualifications
Experience
Minimum 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions.
Proven experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or cloud architecture roles.
Experience establishing architecture patterns, frameworks, and governance processes.
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of:

Hands-on experience with:
