Job Description


  • RFQ tooling, Design New Pattern Tooling, resolve casting issues, Re-gate, Simulate, all other tasks as needed.
  • Interact with managers on directions and priorities of workflow.
  • Interact with Tool designers and Engineers for tool build, process flow.
  • Interact with Pattern Makers for tool build direction.


Requirements

  • Foundry Engineering & process knowledge
  • Foundry tooling design ? Patterns & Core Boxes
  • Creo Modeling
  • SolidCast / Casting Simulation
  • Casting scrap defect analysis & resolution
  • No-Bake & Cold Box processes
  • P/L, offsets, clearances & tool-build layouts
  • Machining print reading
  • Geometric tolerancing / GD&T
  • Strong CAD skills
