The Role

• Operate specialized heavy equipment (hostlers, cranes, top loaders, side loaders) to handle shipping containers.
• Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks.
• Drive hostlers to position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard.
• Stack, move, and organize containers to ensure efficient yard operations.
• Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety.
• Collaborate with yard personnel and supervisors to coordinate logistical tasks.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver's license is mandatory.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50lbs and climbing ladders/stairs.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions and flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong commitment to safety protocols and a keen attention to detail.
• Basic communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Must pass pre-employment background verification, physical, and drug screening.
