Skills
A bachelor's degree from an accredited university in business or management, or equivalent experience.
3-5+ years of directly applicable experience in business operations and/or data analytics.
Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
Solid foundational financial literacy, including the ability to understand budgets, cost drivers, and basic financial reports
Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.
Demonstrated experience with using data visualization tools to create compelling visualizations
Broad knowledge of business operations best practices and standards.
Ability to work in a team environment with multiple and fluid demands.
Ability to maintain effective and professional working relationships with internal and external customers
Personal and professional integrity with strong work ethics
Relationship Management: ability to develop and maintain relationships across IDOH divisions
Project Oversight: ability to align priorities with strategic initiatives
Decision-making: ability to identify root cause of issues and make sound and timely decisions to resolve problems
Excellent critical thinking, time management, and communication skills
Experience with data lineage tools and methods
Ability to understand the data analysis life cycle and its application in a business setting
Ability to take critical feedback in stride and adjust approaches accordingly
