QA Software Tester

Role Summary
This position involves managing and executing software testing processes for enterprise systems supporting business units. The role requires collaboration with business and development teams to ensure system functionality, integrity, and efficiency. Responsible for documenting test cases, analyzing system issues, and supporting system enhancements to optimize operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test procedures to evaluate system performance and data integrity.
• Document and perform moderate to complex software test cases, ensuring thorough testing coverage.
• Track and report issues identified during testing, facilitating timely resolution.
• Assist in defining, documenting, and maintaining system specifications, including business processes and functional requirements.
• Develop and maintain data queries and reports to support data analysis for system users and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to gain and apply intermediate knowledge of supported systems and processes.
• Support system enhancement initiatives by identifying improvement opportunities and assisting with testing.
• Participate in business analysis tasks within project teams to ensure system solutions meet user needs.
• Maintain clear documentation of testing procedures, results, and system configurations.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders through presentations, reports, and training sessions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in business administration, computer science, MIS, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Prior experience or training with enterprise applications and desktop hardware/software.
• Proficiency in SQL querying and data analysis tools.
• Ability to research, analyze, and troubleshoot system software problems.
• Strong documentation skills, including preparing system procedures, reports, and correspondence.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in training and guiding users.
• Proven capability to develop and present technical and non-technical information to diverse audiences.
• Basic arithmetic and computer math skills.
• Fluent reading and writing proficiency in English.
• Valid driver''s license and ability to travel within office facilities as needed.
• Reliable attendance and the ability to perform additional duties as assigned.

Publishing Pay Range: $40.00 - $50.00 hourly

This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
