W2 / 1099 Contract | Senior IBM Sterling EDI Developer | Remote

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior IBM Sterling EDI Developer to join our integration team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, EDI implementations, and enterprise integration solutions. This role involves designing, developing, supporting, and enhancing EDI integrations while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement EDI integration solutions using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.
Perform technical analysis, solution design, development, testing, and production support.
Develop and maintain business processes and EDI maps.
Build integrations for multiple document formats including ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, cXML, CSV, JSON, and Flat Files.
Configure and support communication protocols including AS2, FTP, SFTP, and VAN.
Integrate enterprise applications using APIs, Web Services, XML, and XSLT.
Participate in code reviews and ensure development follows established standards and best practices.
Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide technical leadership during implementation.
Collaborate with globally distributed teams to deliver high-quality integration solutions.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Required Skills

8+ years of IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (Sterling SI) experience.
Strong EDI development experience.
Hands-on Business Process (BPML) development.
Experience with ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, cXML, CSV, JSON, and Flat File processing.
Experience with AS2, FTP, SFTP, and VAN communication protocols.
Strong knowledge of DB2, SQL, XML, XSLT, REST APIs, and Web Services.
Understanding of security, encryption, authentication, authorization, logging, monitoring, and high availability.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a collaborative team environment.
