AI Platform Engineer AWS

What you’ll do

• Build backend and platform services for access control, approval workflows, and audit logging.

• Develop reliable integrations with enterprise applications and services.

• Deploy and operate containerized services in AWS.

• Add monitoring and tracing so platform activity can be investigated and reviewed.

• Collaborate with architects and engineers to build a new platform from an established design.

What you bring

• At least 5 years of experience building production backend, platform, or infrastructure systems.

• Hands-on experience building at least one of the following: access-control or policy systems, audit logging, or workflow orchestration.

• Production AWS experience and experience with containerized deployments such as Kubernetes, EKS, or ECS.

• A working understanding of LLMs and AI agents, including how they connect to business systems and the risks involved.

• Confidence implementing a design when little existing code is available.

Experience with AWS certifications, OAuth/OIDC, enterprise integrations, OpenTelemetry, regulated systems, or hands-on AI application development is a plus. Specific policy or orchestration tools are not required if you have comparable experience.
