Job Description
Position: Project Manager – Security & Identity Management (IDM)
Location: Dallas, TX – Onsite 5 days
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in cybersecurity and Identity & Access Management (IAM/IDM) to lead enterprise security initiatives for our client. You will drive projects from planning through delivery, working closely with security architects, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end delivery of security and IDM programs, including scope, schedule, budget, and risk
- Lead identity lifecycle initiatives such as provisioning/deprovisioning, access reviews, role-based access control (RBAC), SSO, MFA, and privileged access management (PAM)
- Coordinate with security, IT, HR, and application teams to align on requirements and timelines
- Support compliance and audit readiness (SOX, ISO 27001, NIST, etc.)
- Track milestones, manage dependencies, and provide regular status reporting to senior leadership
- Manage vendors, resolve issues, and escalate risks proactively
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of project management experience, with 4+ years in security and/or IDM projects
- Hands-on exposure to IAM platforms such as SailPoint, Okta, CyberArk, Saviynt, Azure AD/Entra ID, or Ping
- Strong understanding of security frameworks, access governance, and compliance requirements
- Experience managing large, cross-functional enterprise programs
- Proficiency in Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred:
- PMP, CISSP, CISM, or similar certification
- Experience in CPG, manufacturing, or large global enterprise environments
- Familiarity with cloud security (Azure/AWS)
