Java playwright tester with AI knowledge

We are looking for a Java Playwright Tester with strong experience in test automation using Java, Playwright, and Selenium, along with working knowledge of AI/GenAI technologies. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test solutions for web applications, APIs, and data-driven systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Playwright, and Selenium.
• Develop and execute UI, functional, regression, integration, and API automation tests.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or REST-based frameworks.
• Create reusable and maintainable automation frameworks.
• Validate data using SQL and database testing techniques.
• Participate in SIT, UAT, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain test cases, automation documentation, test reports, and quality metrics.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Leverage AI/GenAI tools to improve test-case generation, test automation, test-data creation, defect analysis, and testing productivity.
• Support testing of applications that incorporate AI/ML or GenAI capabilities when required.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Java programming.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright automation.
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience building or working with test automation frameworks.
• Experience with API testing and automation.
• Strong knowledge of SQL/database validation.
• Experience with JUnit/TestNG/PyTest or similar testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of Git and CI/CD tools.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Good understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC).
• Working knowledge of AI/GenAI tools and their application in software testing.
