Neo4j Architect

Skills and experience 

• 8+ years in data platform architecture, with 4+ years hands-on Neo4j Enterprise 
• Deep knowledge of Neo4j causal clustering, Raft consensus, quorum behaviour and leader election 
• Multi-database tenancy, database-level RBAC and isolation models 
• Neo4j sizing: page cache and heap configuration, licensable-core basis, storage and transaction-log volume design 
• Migration mechanics: neo4j-admin dump/load, online backup and restore, delta synchronisation, read-replica seeding 
• Version upgrade and end-of-life planning across Neo4j major versions 
• Cloud infrastructure architecture (AWS preferred): compute family selection, network topology, private connectivity patterns 
• Proven experience consolidating fragmented database estates into shared or multi-tenant platforms 
• Ability to produce client-facing design documentation and defend architectural recommendations 

Good to have

• Neo4j AuraDB (managed service) architecture, limits and private endpoint connectivity 
• Graph Data Science and Bloom deployment and licensing considerations 
• Regulated-industry experience (life sciences, pharma, financial services) including qualification and validation processes 
• Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform / CloudFormation) 
• Neo4j Certified Professional; AWS Solutions Architect Professional 
• Exposure to FinOps or software asset management concepts
