Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced QA Lead with 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance, test automation, and QA leadership. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining testing strategies, leading QA activities, developing automation solutions, and ensuring the quality and reliability of enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end QA activities throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test cases, and testing processes.

• Lead and mentor QA engineers and automation testers.

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks.

• Execute functional, regression, integration, system, API, and end-to-end testing.

• Review business and technical requirements to ensure adequate test coverage.

• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.

• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and DevOps teams.

• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

• Monitor testing progress, quality metrics, defect trends, and overall release readiness.

• Perform root-cause analysis of critical defects and production issues.

• Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, automation coverage, and testing efficiency.

• Provide regular status updates and quality reports to project stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing.

• Strong experience leading QA teams and managing testing activities.

• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or UFT.

• Strong programming experience in Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Experience developing automation frameworks using Page Object Model, BDD, or Data-Driven approaches.

• Strong experience with API testing using Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI, or similar tools.

• Experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, or equivalent frameworks.

• Strong SQL skills and experience with database testing.

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.

• Experience with Git and source control management.

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum, SDLC, and STLC methodologies.

• Experience with defect and test management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, ALM, or TestRail.

• Strong communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform environments.

• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.

• Experience with mobile automation using Appium.

• Experience testing microservices and distributed applications.

• Knowledge of DevOps and continuous testing practices.

• ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications are a plus.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
