Contract Support Officer - Andover, SP10 4FB, United Kingdom

We're looking for a Contract Support Officer to join our Property Safety team and play a pivotal role in helping us maintain safe, compliant homes for our customers.

This is an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse range of property safety disciplines, including water safety, asbestos management, fire safety, lifting equipment, CCTV, emergency lighting, security systems and more. You'll be at the heart of ensuring critical servicing, maintenance and compliance activities are delivered effectively, efficiently and to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

As a Contract Support Officer, you'll provide essential operational and technical support to our Property Safety team, working closely with Contract Managers, Service Providers and internal stakeholders to ensure our safety programmes run smoothly.

You'll:

  • Support the delivery and monitoring of property safety servicing, maintenance and compliance contracts.
  • Coordinate day-to-day operational activities, ensuring schedules are met and legislative requirements are maintained.
  • Manage contractor performance information, prepare KPI reports and support contract review meetings.
  • Identify and help resolve service delivery issues, ensuring high levels of compliance and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records, data and audit trails across multiple compliance systems.
  • Conduct audits and reconciliations of asset and equipment records, escalating discrepancies through to resolution.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new systems, processes and ways of working.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders, translating complex information into practical advice.
  • Support financial processes, ensuring information is accurate and budgets are managed effectively.

What we're looking for

You will bring to the role strong administrative and analytical skills with a proactive, customer-focused approach.

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience supporting contracts, projects, programmes or maintenance services within a related industry.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Experience working with databases, CRM or job management systems.
  • Confidence analysing data, producing reports and monitoring performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A logical and methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • A strong understanding of the importance of compliance, governance and accurate record keeping.
  • Experience within Property Services, Asset Management or Property Safety environments would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of landlord health and safety compliance requirements would be desirable.

This is considered to be a hybrid role enabling you to base yourself from home if you wish. There are regular times that the team comes together in our main office HUBs, so you'll be happy to travel within our region and will be suitably located to travel.

Our operating region includes, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Somerset and Dorset.

In this role, you'll be a trusted partner to our Contract Managers, helping to ensure:

  • Property Safety services are delivered on time, within budget and in line with KPI targets.
  • Compliance records are accurate, auditable and up to date.
  • Processes and systems continually improve to meet evolving regulations and best practice.
  • Strong contractor relationships drive excellent service delivery.
  • Customers receive safe, reliable and high-quality services.
