SC/NPPV3 DevOps Engineer - Azure

Senior DevOps Engineer

Contract: 12 months
Location: Hybrid (London)
Clearance: SC & NPPV3 (must be Met Clearance)
Rate: £500-£550/day Outside IR35

We're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with active Met Police clearance to support a large-scale cloud transformation programme, designing and delivering secure, scalable cloud infrastructure across Azure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage Azure cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps and Git.
• Deploy and manage containerised applications using Docker, Kubernetes/AKS and Helm.
• Develop secure cloud landing zones, governance and infrastructure aligned with security and compliance requirements.
• Implement monitoring and observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, Prometheus and Grafana.
• Automate infrastructure and operational processes using Python, PowerShell and Bash.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and improve platform performance, resilience and availability.
• Work closely with Architecture, Security, Cloud and Engineering teams to deliver robust cloud solutions.

Essential Experience

• Strong commercial DevOps/Cloud Engineering experience.
• Extensive Azure experience.
• Strong Terraform/Infrastructure as Code experience.
• Kubernetes/AKS and Helm.
• Jenkins and/or Azure DevOps CI/CD.
• Docker, Linux and Scripting experience.
• Experience working in secure or regulated environments.
