  • Manage Windows Server 2016/2019/2022/2025 environments, including server builds, upgrades, patching, lifecycle management, performance optimization, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Administer and troubleshoot Active Directory Domain Services, including replication, Sites and Services, Kerberos, authentication, domain controllers, and domain/forest-level infrastructure.

  • Engineer and maintain hybrid infrastructure integrating on-premises Microsoft environments with Azure and other cloud platforms.
  • Support Azure infrastructure including virtual machines, VNets, subnets, NSGs, private networking, Azure Storage, Backup, Site Recovery, and Azure Monitor.
  • Support hybrid identity environments using Entra ID, Active Directory, managed identities, service principals, and RBAC.
  • Administer and troubleshoot VMware environments, including vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, VM provisioning, HA/DRS, networking, and performance.
  • Develop PowerShell and other automation solutions to improve infrastructure reliability, visibility, and operational efficiency.
  • Create automated server health checks, Active Directory reporting, patch compliance reporting, certificate expiration monitoring, and bulk server configuration processes.
  • Collaborate with networking, security, storage, cloud, application, and database teams to resolve cross-platform infrastructure issues.
  • Evaluate infrastructure capacity, performance, resiliency, redundancy, and scalability.
  • Provide technical leadership for infrastructure modernization, standards, architecture, and operational best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive hands-on experience engineering and supporting enterprise Windows Server environments.
  • Strong expertise with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022/2025.
  • Deep knowledge of Active Directory Domain Services, including replication, Sites and Services, Kerberos, domain controllers, and Windows authentication.
  • Strong experience with DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, NTFS permissions, share permissions, and ACLs.
  • Experience with Windows Server builds, patching, upgrades, lifecycle management, vulnerability remediation, and performance troubleshooting.
  • Strong PowerShell skills with the ability to develop automation and tooling, rather than simply execute existing scripts.
  • Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.
  • Working knowledge of Azure infrastructure and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure dependencies across compute, operating systems, virtualization, storage, and networking.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot complex enterprise infrastructure problems and perform root-cause analysis.
