Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Revit Piping Designer to support the design and development of complex industrial piping systems for advanced manufacturing facilities. This role focuses on transforming conceptual designs into detailed, coordinated 2D and 3D models for chemical, gas, hydronic, and other factory utility piping systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in process or mechanical piping design, fabrication-level modeling, and multidisciplinary coordination. You will contribute to the development of accurate, clash-free piping systems that support manufacturing operations and onsite construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed 2D and 3D design documents and deliverables using Revit and AutoCAD.

  • Create clash-free, fabrication-level piping models at LOD 400 500 to support onsite assembly and installation.

  • Utilize Revit fabrication parts to produce accurate piping designs and fabrication schedules for estimating, procurement, and construction teams.

  • Interpret, develop, and modify Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).

  • Generate piping isometrics, fabrication drawings, and shop drawings for construction.

  • Coordinate piping layouts with multidisciplinary teams to identify and resolve design clashes.

  • Ensure piping models are accurate, constructible, and suitable for fabrication and installation.

  • Apply applicable industry standards, safety requirements, and building codes throughout the design process.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in computer-aided design (CAD), process piping design, or mechanical piping design.

  • Hands-on experience with detailed piping design, 3D modeling, and fabrication-level detailing.

  • Experience in high-tech or industrial environments, such as semiconductor, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, or petrochemical industries.

  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Bluebeam.

  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, ASME standards, and applicable building codes.

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, piping specifications, and construction documentation.

  • Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

This is a direct hire opportunity. The selected candidate will be employed directly by our client. All compensation and benefits, including but not limited to medical insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other perks, will be provided by the client in accordance with their internal policies and subject to applicable laws and eligibility requirements.
