Mechanical Design Engineer

Pay Range: $38/hr - $40/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and research repair development technical requirements (processes, procedures, techniques, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with repair development regulatory requirements (materials, tools, equipment, technical documentation, facilities, etc.)
• Coordinate findings and propose solutions for TAT reduction and FPY improvement
• Integrate findings and approved solutions into current development and complete Technical Publication Change Requests, Temporary and/or complete Revisions
• Develop and complete Overhaul Repair Instructions
• Document repair processes and procedures
• Create Technical Inspection Instructions
• Develop technical equivalencies for materials, tools, and equipment used in overhaul repair activities
• Provide oversight technical support to suppliers for overhaul repair activities

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Strong manufacturing engineering background
• Bachelor's degree
