Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Google Cloud Platform Infrastructure / DevOps Engineer with strong Google Cloud expertise and hands-on experience automating production infrastructure across Google Cloud Platform and AWS.

This role will build reusable infrastructure, automate customer environment provisioning, and manage deployment pipelines for contact-center and conversational platforms. Responsibilities also include infrastructure supporting Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and knowledge pipelines. The role focuses on infrastructure and deployment operations; it does not involve developing conversational applications or retrieval logic.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain reusable Terraform modules for Google Cloud Platform projects and AWS accounts.

• Automate service enablement, networking, IAM permissions, secrets management, and baseline logging.

• Provision and operate infrastructure for RAG and knowledge pipelines, including document stores, vector databases or search indexes, embedding and indexing jobs, and schedulers.

• Develop CI/CD pipelines to deploy pre-built Contact Center AI (CCAI), voice, and chat application packages, customer configurations, and knowledge-index refresh jobs.

• Manage environment provisioning, updates, backups or snapshots where applicable, and teardown.

• Implement monitoring, alerting, and dashboards for go-live readiness and operational handoff, including pipeline job failure monitoring.

• Collaborate with architects, specialists, and data engineers to translate designs into reusable infrastructure modules and deployment workflows.

• Control cloud costs through budgets, resource labels and tags, and idle-environment policies.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or platform engineering.

• Strong hands-on Google Cloud Platform infrastructure experience.

• Production Infrastructure-as-Code experience using Terraform across both Google Cloud Platform and AWS.

• Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

• Practical knowledge of IAM, secrets managers, private networking, and audit logging.

• Experience deploying contact-center or conversational platforms.

• Google Cloud DevOps Engineer and/or AWS DevOps / SysOps certification.
